The findings of my research have appeared in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the British Journal of Political Science, the European Journal of Political Research, the Journal of Common Market Studies, and other outlets. This website provides information about my publications and ongoing projects, including the Horizon 2020 project EMU Choices that I am co-coordinating (for more on this project, see here). In case you are interested in the public opinion polling that I am conducting together with Lucas Leemann on Swiss politics, please visit this webpage (in German).

I am seeking applications for a PhD position in European Politics at the University of Bern starting in February 2020 or later. Please find the job ad here and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

I am a political scientist studying European politics (mainly fiscal and

economic integration), Swiss politics (focusing on federalism and direct democracy), and policy diffusion (that is, how policy making is interdependent across and within countries).
